Hello World!

Yes there is yet another Open Source PHP CMS application to choose from.

The woysCMS project is relatively new and is currently at a 0.2 release.  There are currently a lot of bugs and absent features but they are getting better every day.

The project is Open Source and distributed under the terms of the GPL v.3 which you can learn more about here. 

Unless otherwise specified everything released in this project is copyrighted by the projects owner and maintainer Jason Woys and again distributed under the listed GPL version.

Included Software:
  • jQuery - GPL v2
  • famfamfam_silk_icon image library - Creative Commons License
This Application is designed to run on a LAMP platform, which means without modification it will only run on a system running Linux with Apache 2, MySQL 5,and PHP 5.  Nearly every Web Hosting provider worth its salt will be able to provide this. I shamelessly suggest E P Farms Hosting!

The current source is always available via SVN at http://sourceforge.net/svn/?group_id=233681 and browseable at http://woyscms.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/woyscms/.

Also current tar ball builds are available here.

woysCMS version 0.2 is released! 

This is the second release of the Open Source CMS project woysCMS.

There are still many bugs and this software is far from stable.
But if your willing, able, and a little brave you can get the release here

And as always you can get the latest and greatest from the subversion
repository available at:

What's New?

  • A minor bug related to User Authentication was fixed.
  • The old "default theme" was renamed to "ugly".
  • A new "default theme" was created that was a little bit prettier :).

The official launch of woysCMS.org has come to be!

Concurrent with the first public release of version 0.1 of Woyscms, this site has lauched and will hopefully be a home for the software project as it continues to grow.
